BIO
Patricio Serna was born in Monterrey, Mexico. He earned an MA in film documentary in Barcelona and attended the graduate film program at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. His film credits as director, producer and writer include the documentary Goatsucker (1999), selected for the New York International Latino Film Festival; the animated Clamato (2001), Bailen 58 (2002), Tromba D'Oro (2003), selected for the 2003 Sundance Film Festival and awarded best Latin American short at the Sao Paulo Short Film Festival in Brazil and Mating Call (2004) awarded best international short by Canal+ at the Cinemajove Film Festival in Spain. He also cowrote and produced Victoria Para Chino (2004), awarded an honorable mention at the 200 5 Sundance Film Festival. He currently works in music videos and commercials as director, producer, and cameraperson.
